It’s Cold One,
Groomers have all been out this week getting things ready for the long weekend. With the cold temps, we have been grooming during the day for safety of the operators. Use caution when meeting or following the groomer.  They will see you and will generally pull over and let riders pass.
Another comment I am hearing that the trails are in amazingly  great shape in all areas.  Even with the smaller amounts of snow this year, the riding is excellent.
A couple of safety items with riding in the cold weather, don’t ride alone, get in groups and look out for one another.  If you see someone with a hood up, stop and check if they need help, do the right thing on this.
With the wide trails we have here, please stay on your side of the trails, we are riding snowmobiles, not racing snowmobiles on the trails.  Please try and avoid spinning the track on corners, it doesn’t take much to throw the snow off.  By doing this, operators can keep the trails and corners in much better shape.
With all that said, get up North, trails are great and area stops are warm and welcoming!! Have a great weekend, be safe, and enjoy riding here in Voyageur Country!
